 Tim Abbott - Director Tim started many years ago as schools worker and seen the organisation develop into a broad based youth outreach ministry. Tim has a particular interest in mission, culture and the gospel and in creating meaningful opportunities for young people to explore their spirituality and the Christian message for themselves. He led the development of the Sanctum spiritual space in schools project and is currently working with others in this field nationally. |
 Amy Watson - Youth
workerAmy has a degree in Youth and Community Work and Applied Theology with the Centre for Youth Ministry having previously spent a gap year with CYO. Originally planning to study Art History, Amy's life direction was dramatically changed a few years ago at the Soul Survivor summer event when she believes God clearly directed her into youth work. Amy now heads up our youth work training and networking events and is involved in our work with churches and schools, including student mentoring. |
Kathryn Collar Kathryn works as Chaplain in Colchester Sixth Form College providing one-to-one support for students and helping with spiritual development in all sorts of ways, including the popular Christmas and Easter events. Apprentice Year Scheme Spend a year working alongside the CYO team and a local church developing your skills in youth ministry and growing in the gifts God has given you. We can provide opportunities in youth work and schools work, speaking to many or working with individuals, up front and personal or behind the scenes and technical.
