Stanway School Soul Space

Stanway School Soul Space

Today was the official opening of the Stanway School Soul Space with students, staff and guests including the Bishop of Colchester, Roger Morris. Soul Space is a designated area within the school library where students and staff can go for quiet, reflection or prayer. It has been created to be welcoming to people of all faiths or none, and has a range of books, images and prayer activities adapted from the ones we use in Sanctum.

Soul Space has been created with the warm support of the school leadership and an allocation of funds decided by the students themselves. The photo of the Head Teacher, Mr. Jonathan Bland, Bishop Roger and Beks the school chaplain standing in the Soul Space after the short opening ceremony.
